and in corporate social responsibility. Companies that wish to have their sustainability initiatives assessed, test their initiatives through EcoVadis. With this recognition, Intercel Group ranks among the top 5% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide.
Leading the way in a complex battery market
The battery market is booming and growing, but is also complex and rapidly changing. Legislation, ESG criteria and supply chain requirements make it challenging for customers to make the right choices. Sustainability in our DNA
The awarding of the EcoVadis Gold Medal closely aligns with Intercel Group’s sustainability ambitions. The company’s operations focus on the energy transition and electrification of society: through Intercel Electrification, the company accelerates the shift from fossil fuels to electric propulsion with robust, innovative tailor-made batteries. Intercel Storage (ESS) provides reliable energy storage, for example for renewable energy or as a solution to grid congestion challenges. In addition, Intercel Motive supplies cyclic batteries for sectors such as mobility, cleaning and agriculture. Intercel Standby provides back-up energy solutions for critical systems such as UPS systems in telecom, data centers, healthcare and security.
